An exercise and regeneration hike up to Mt. Rose (10776 ft) this morning. Forgot the camera and GPS at home (duh!), so no photo album and an old track below. The wildflowers are still nice in Galena Creek meadow and the waterfall is flowing, not strongly. There’s the nip of Fall in the wind already in the Sierra, but then there can be a cold wind on the ridge approaching the summit of Mt. Rose at any time of year. There was the usual crowd of people at the top. ├é┬áLassen Peak (112 miles away) was visible, barely, on the horizon.
