Two loop trails in  Hidden Valley Regional Park, Washoe County, Reno, Nevada. The main access to the park is via Parkway Drive from Pembroke Way. The trailhead is east of the horse show arena; take the first left after entering the park and drive to the end of the pavement.  For the Highland Loop Trail, there is a pedestrian gate at the beginning of the route; the spur is an alternate access point that requires crossing a fence. This route follows the “official” trail, there are many use trails intersecting the trail.  The Highland Loop has a few steep sections and parts are loose with a cross slope. The easy Perimeter Loop Trail (second route map below) can also be accessed from the south park entrance at Mia Vista; the spurs are neighborhood pedestrian access points.
