Hike from the Eagle Falls Trailhead at Emerald Bay on Lake Tahoe, past Eagle Falls and Eagle Lake to Upper Velma and Middle Velma Lakes. Desolation Wilderness Area, Tahoe National Forest, California, USA. Very nice Sierra alpine lakes. Trail is steep and rocky in places. Meets the Pacific Crest Trail between the two lakes. $5 parking and day use fee, limited parking in a popular area.
