| Trailhead: | Park along Nevada highway 431 about one mile west of the Mt. Rose summit. The route heads through the woods on the south side of the road and southwest side of Tahoe Meadows up to ridges overlooking Lake Tahoe. This is a snowshoe track, but the same general route on cross-country skis is good, with slopes from either the lower or upper ridges toward the lake appropriate for downhill runs. | |
